Updated 4 October 2026 to match the current app.

A Whole New Glitzycam

We've completely rebuilt Glitzycam from the ground up for version 2.0. The original ActionScript Flash app served us well for over a decade, but it was time for something new.

Glitzycam NextGen is now:

  • Built for phones and tablets — runs on iPhone, iPad, and Android phones and tablets, with the full booth flow on every screen size. It also runs on Linux with USB webcams, and on Windows and macOS with a built-in test camera while hardware camera support is planned
  • Blazing fast — built with Flutter, leveraging GPU rendering everywhere
  • More capable — an integrated template editor, several printers at once, and templates you can load straight from your Glitzycam account

What's New

Beautiful New Template Editor

Design custom photo layouts right inside the app. Drag, resize, and rotate photo slots and text widgets on a real canvas. Add your own backgrounds and overlays. No external tools needed.

True 300 DPI Printing

Every composite is rendered at full 1800x1200 resolution for genuine 300 DPI on 6x4" paper. Direct IPP printing, AirPrint support, and automatic post-session printing.

Several Printers, Free

Add as many printers as you like in Settings → Printing, on iPhone, iPad, Android, and desktop. Each photo goes to the printer with the shortest queue, and if one runs out of paper or goes offline, the booth moves on to the next. No upgrade or license needed.

Pro Add-ons for Desktop

On desktop, a Pro license removes the Glitzycam watermark from shared photos. DSLR tethering (via GPhotoWeb) is also a Pro add-on, but it isn't part of the current release. One-time purchase, no subscription. Photos shared from an iPhone, iPad, or Android device are never watermarked in the app.

Templates From Glitzycam Web

Generate a template with AI on glitzycam.com, or pick one from the Marketplace. Then sign in to the app and load it onto your booth in one tap.

Download Glitzycam today and turn your phone or tablet into a professional photobooth experience.
